Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions, together with those of the campsite for the camping package you purchase, collectively form the Terms and Conditions that apply to you during your stay at Fleadh Cheoil Campsites in 2026. Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Please check the latest version before travelling to the campsite.

The Booking

Booking a camping package in a Fleadh Cheoil campsite does not mean you have access to events or venues. You must purchase event tickets separately.

Access to Fleadh Cheoil Campsites is limited to wristband holders only. Tickets you book will be exchanged for associated wristbands when you arrive.

Since Fleadh campsites are family-friendly, the following rules apply…

When you book any camping package it comes with access for two adults aged 16+. You can also purchase access for additional adults at the checkout if there will be more than two in your group.
If anyone in your group is aged 16 or 17, there must also be someone in the group aged 25+
When you book a ‘with children’ camping package, for every person in the group aged 18+, you can also bring up to two additional people aged 15 or younger, free of charge
Children are issued with a wristband that is linked to their adult’s details. It must be worn at all times.
Photography or filming of other people’s children is not permitted without the explicit consent of their accompanying adult
At all times, laws that are restrictive by age limit must be observed, and a valid photographic ID may be requested. For example, under 18s will not be allowed to purchase alcohol in the campsite bars, or be allowed to supervise others who are under 18
People under the age of 18 are not permitted to bring alcohol on site

All bookings are non-refundable. You must make sure that you are able to attend before you purchase. However, should the event be rescheduled or relocated by the organiser and you are no longer able to attend, or the event be cancelled by the organiser, you can apply for a refund through your Citizen Ticket account.

The Campsites

Fleadh campsites are located on land that has other uses during the rest of the year, and, in particular, the tent campsites are within public parks. Please respect the land and always use the provided toilets, recycling points, BBQ areas, and any predetermined walkways. The land owners reserve the right to prosecute if you cause damage to a campsite venue.

Please help us respect the local community, and your neighbours in the campsite, by keeping noise to a minimum. There is an additional expectation that the family and accessibility camping areas will be quieter, as well as between the hours of 01:00 and 06:00 everywhere else. Campsite staff and security patrol the campsites for your safety, but they are also instructed to keep a lid on noise. Accordingly, overnight patrols are more likely to visit you if you forget.

Fleadh campsites are well laid out with plenty of space for you and your things, so you shouldn’t have any need to ‘sprawl’. Nonetheless, it is imperative that all emergency routes and exits remain free and unobstructed. Equipment must remain within the footprint of your tent or live in vehicle, and staff may require some items be repositioned or removed.

Accessibility and welfare facilities are available at all campsites; however, guests are encouraged to contact the campsite operators in advance of arrival if they or anyone in their group has specific accessibility, medical or welfare requirements. Availability and suitability of facilities may vary between campsites and accommodation types, and the operators reserve the right to recommend alternative campsite locations or packages where appropriate.

As the buyer of a Fleadh camping package, If there are multiple people in your group, you are taking responsibility for any cleanliness or damage issues arising from the group as a whole. Should breaches of these terms occur by a member of your group, it may affect the entire booking. Evictions and refusals can apply to your entire group, and no refunds will be given.

Security Cameras are in operation throughout the campsites for safety, security, and crime prevention. Footage may be shared with campsite operators, campsite security, Fleadh security, event control, and PSNI for these purposes.

The Arrival

When you book your camping package, you will receive by email everything you need to access the campsite, including passes for yourself, the rest of your group, and/or your vehicle. You must be able to present these when you arrive to gain entry to the campsite. Please remember that Fleadh Cheoil attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year, all trying to use their mobile phones at the same time, so downloading these documents and your camping passes to your device before you arrive is highly recommended.

You can check-in to Fleadh campsites from 14:00 on the first day covered by the package you buy, and must check-out by 10:00 on the last day.

Valid tickets will be exchanged for wristbands. Wristbands remain the property of the Campsite Operator. After a wristband is applied to your wrist it must not be removed for the duration of your stay. If your wristband ends up being too tight or is otherwise damaged, bring the wristband to campsite staff to arrange a replacement.

Children’s wristbands include a coded number. When you arrive with children you will be required to give us some details that we can record against the wristband number to keep in our site office. If your child is separated from your group at any point, our team can identify them and get in touch with you to reunite you as quickly as possible. Children must be supervised in the campsites at all times.

No animals, other than assistance dogs, are permitted in the campsites.

Any personal property brought to the event is at your own risk; it is advisable not to bring anything of high value. Lost and found items will be taken to our campsite welfare centres during the event. If you realise you have lost something after your stay, contact the campsite operator usng the contact form. Any items not collected by the end of the event will be kept for 30 days before being destroyed.

Certain items are prohibited from Fleadh campsites. For this reason, you, your belongings and/or your vehicle may be searched by campsite security, event security, or PSNI before you can access the campsite. If you are bringing a live-in vehicle, prepare to allow searching aboard your vehicle. Any person who refuses a search will be refused admission, and no refund will be given. Please pay very close attention to restricted items lists.

If you have any of these items when you arrive, you must surrender them, or you will not be allowed entry. Surrendered items will not be returned, so if you don’t want to lose them, don’t bring them. These items include…

Illicit substances or ‘legal’ highs (including poppers and nitrous oxide)
Diesel or other generators (except where fully fitted in a caravan/campervan)

Other spray cans over 250ml
Megaphones
Air horns
Speakers / amplifiers (portable or otherwise)
Fireworks
Flares
Sky / Chinese lanterns
Drones
Lasers
Hi-Vis clothing
Gazebos (except fixed, cantilevered, caravan/campervan awnings)
Excessive amounts of food or drink (personal use amounts only)
Professional photography or filming equipment (including zoom lenses)

Because it is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of prohibited items, security staff will use their common sense discretion for any items not listed here. The decisions of security staff are final.

The campsite operator is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including where items were surrendered on entry), or injuries sustained (except where caused by their actions or failure to exercise reasonable care).

The campsite operators are not responsible for problems arising from circumstances outside of their reasonable control.

The Need to Knows

Cooking in the campsites is only permitted inside a caravan or campervan that has permanent kitchen facilities, or at one of the BBQ area locations provided in each campsite. Only solid fuel cooking equipment can be used, such as disposable BBQs. Camping stoves and similar cooking equipment are prohibited from the campsite. Cooking is strictly forbidden inside tents or roof box tents.

Alcohol brought into the campsites in sensible amounts and must be for personal consumption only. Anti-social, excessive or unsafe alcohol consumption will not be tolerated, and campsite security reserves the right to inspect alcohol quantities and confiscate prohibited items where necessary.

Anti-social, abusive, or violent behaviour in the campsites will not be tolerated. Offenders will be evicted, and no refund will be given. PSNI may be informed via event control protocols. Fleadh campsite operators will support any prosecution that arises if you cause harm to another person while at the campsites.

The use of electronic speakers or amplified sound is not permitted in the campsites

Any person found in possession of illegal items or engaging in illegal activity will be evicted, and no refund will be given. PSNI may be informed via event control protocols.

Any person found to be engaged in unauthorised trading and selling, of any kind, will be evicted and no refund will be given. If you are interested in legitimate trading inside Fleadh campsites, contact the campsite operator via their website.
