Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Fleadh Cheoil Campsites Terms and Conditions, collectively form the Terms and Conditions that apply to you during your stay at the Fleadh Cheoil Live-in Vehicle Campsite in 2026. Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Please check the latest version before travelling to the campsite.
The Booking
For purposes of clarity, acceptable live-in vehicles are…
- Campervans (defined as a self driving vehicle with permanently fitted sleeping and kitchen facilities, and multiple windows in the living space)
- Caravans (defined as a towed trailer with windows and a living space)
- Cars / MPVs / SUVs / pickups with roof box tents
Vehicles not fitting these descriptions will not be permitted entry to the campsite, and no refund will be given.
Available space for ‘outsized’ vehicles is very limited. For vehicles over 7.5m long, or of unusual weight or configuration, written approval from the campsite operator must be obtained in advance of buying your ticket. The campsite operator reserves the right to refuse admission to any vehicle where access, manoeuvrability, ground conditions, or pitch suitability may be affected, and no refunds will be given.
Your live-in vehicle must be large enough to accommodate everyone in your group and their things.
Power is only available for caravans and campervans.
The Campsite
The enforced maximum speed limit on site is 10mph (16km/h). Drive carefully and mind pedestrians at all times.
To allow people to get a good night’s sleep it may be necessary to turn off campsite generators between 1am and 6am, which means power supply will not be available between these times.
There is a separate on-site car park for towing vehicles only. Purchasers of Caravan Live-In Vehicle Camping packages will receive an additional vehicle pass which can be used to access this area, and you are free to come and go during your stay.
Power is only available for campervans and caravans in the Live-In Vehicle Campsite.
Access to power will be no further than 25m from your pitch. To use this facility you must bring your own 25m of cable with standard 16amp (blue) connections.
The only tents allowed in the live-in vehicle campsite are roof box tents. Tent camping takes place in a different campsite, on grass.
The Need to Knows
You are welcome to use a cantilevered awning that is permanently fixed to your campervan or caravan, but no other structures are permitted, as per NIFRS guidance.
Your live-in vehicle must be big enough for everybody in your group and all their things. Sleeping outside a live-in vehicle, or inside a towing vehicle, is not permitted.
Towing vehicles are not permitted to remain at caravan pitches, and must be moved to the designated towing vehicle carpark as soon as the caravan is sited.
A ‘yellow & red card’ system will be in use to enforce timely check-outs. Any vehicle remaining longer than their booking allows is subject to towing. This applies in the campsite and in the towing vehicle carpark
For fire safety reasons, smoking is not permitted inside roof box tents. Please do this outside.
You must not use any of the following inside a roof box tent at any time…
- Matches
- Lighters
- Ignitable tobacco or other herbs (for instance, smoke cleansing)
- Candles
- BBQs
- Stoves of any description
- Campfires
The campsites feature food traders, and dedicated BBQ areas will be provided if you want to do some cooking.
Generators are only permitted if permanently fitted within a campervan or caravan. No portable generators are permitted.
Gas bottles are only permitted if permanently fitted within a campervan or caravan. No portable gas bottles, canisters or similar are permitted.
Your live-in vehicle must be roadworthy and meet the legally required standards. Unsafe vehicles may be refused entry and no refund will be given.
