Bag searches take place at the campsite entrances, and vehicles may also be searched at the car park. Searches are carried out by trained security staff. If you refuse a search, you will be refused entry and your ticket will not be refunded.
A few things that’ll help you get through quickly…
- Check the prohibited items list before you travel, and leave at home any banned items. If items must be confiscated before you can enter, they will not be returned
- Don’t bring liquids in glass containers, even alcohol. If you must bring the liquid, decant into plastic containers before you leave home
- If you are bringing a live-in vehicle, be prepared to allow security staff to come aboard to search
